Throughout the past year I have been a student representative hosting 30+ events on campus promoting Adobe and building a design community.
My Role
After joining Adobe Student Ambassador in January 2025, me and a couple of classmates decided to build a club around it in New York University. Without minimal support from the school and outsider, my team and I were collaborating with well established clubs in New York University such as Tech@NYU, Product Management Club and gained attention to students interested in Adobe and design. After building the base for a year, by March 2026 our team expanded to 12 E-Board managers and formed the AStudio Club of Tisch Schools of Arts.
EVENTS
The journey started when 4 student ambassadors including me were invited to represent Adobe and promote Adobe Express to school teachers who were interested in investing Adobe for their University. This was February 12th, 2 weeks after we became ambassador. We strived and improvised, we taught the teachers how to make a mug design in 30 minutes and amazed the Adobe Faculty members. We earned their trust and support.
March 2nd, 2025. Tech@NYU Hackathon x Adobe NYU.
Adobe Express workshop guest speaker event (Myself as speaker).
To grow our presence on campus, we needed a strategy. Since we had connections and friends in well established clubs in NYU, our team agreed to collaborate with large clubs first. Using gifts given by Adobe, we sponsored hackathon through Adobe merch and gained followers by exchanging gift with a follower on Instagram. There we scaled from 0 to our first 100 followers on Instagram.
April 17th, 2025. Product Management Club x Adobe NYU.
Adobe Product Manager speaker event.
Continuously we grew connections with Adobe faculty members by cold mailing and LinkedIn messaging product managers, UX designers, etc. We invited them to our campus to give speech about their experience, how they got that job and what is it like to be a PM, designer, etc. By end of December 2025, we have hosted more than 10 related events.
MENTORSHOP
After the continuous work in 2025 we decided to launch our own mentorship program. We had a base of 300 followers on Instagram by then. Our idea came from bridging the gap between student interest and real world client requirements. Making the gap between the two smaller, and students get to put large collaborative projects directly into their portfolio through our program.
Mentorship program consists of 12 hardworking design related students to elevate their design skills through a semester long project working in collaboration with a team of 4 people (3 groups) on real world clients.
February 3rd, 2025. Adobe NYU Mentorship Kickoff.
12 mentees + 3 mentors students
Through our club E-Board members, we were able to find 3 companies that wants us to provide UI UX Design, Brand Design service for the for a semester long project. 4 people were in groups collaborating meeting twice a week working towards the final presentation. Our feedback from the attending mentees were tremendously amazing.
February 27th, 2025. Adobe NYU Mentorship with Adobe Mentors
12 mentees + 5 Adobe Faculty Members Feedback Session
REBRAND
After a year and a half of dedication to creating this community, in March 2026 we are proudly acknowledged as a Club of Tisch School of Arts. Our brand name is AStudio. Everything stays the same, but we are scaling to become even larger in scope. Providing more opportunities to more students in all fields of art and design.
